What do 2RS, 2Z and "open" mean?
2RS = two contact rubber seals (sealed both sides); 2Z (or ZZ) = two metal shields; "open" = no seal. Seals retain grease and keep out contamination.
What does internal clearance CN, C3, C4 mean?
It is the radial internal clearance: CN is normal, C3 and C4 are greater (for high temperature or interference fits), C2 is reduced. Choose by temperature, load and fit.
How do I read dimensions d × D × B?
d = bore (inner) diameter, D = outer diameter, B = width, all in mm. E.g. a 6206 is 30 × 62 × 16 mm. You can search by dimensions in the "Dimensions" section.
How do I find the equivalent of an OEM or competitor code?
Use "Find equivalent" and paste the code: we show the matching catalogue items across all brands, via ISO-designation cross-reference.
What is the difference between ball and roller bearings?
Ball bearings have point contact: high speed, medium loads. Roller bearings (cylindrical, tapered, spherical) have line contact: higher capacity, ideal for heavy loads.
